'....we had a great time in the Barn, what a fab place! It’s location was ideal for us as we didn’t have a car & we were able to start our walks from the doorstep. We appreciated the well equipped house & kitchen & were very cosy with both the fire & central heating.

'Wanted to thank you for the most wonderful long weekend at the barn - my family and I have stayed in many self-catering cottages, barns, houses etc in this country and Europe but yours tops them all.....you have managed to combine little luxuries with the comforts and welcoming feeling of home.  Silly things when you have a family the size of mine like not having to pack soaps, gels, towels, kitchen necessities make such a difference.  Even the supply of logs for the fire and being able to take our dog made for a far more relaxing time for the grown-ups.  Quite sincerely, well done - a wonderful place to get away from it all!' - Smedley Feb 2011
